Anytime someone talks about affiliate marketing they always hype it up with big promises about how you can do this and that and then go sit on a beach drinking your favorite drink and the money comes pouring in.

That’s a nice little dream… :) *rolling my eyes*

Here’s the real truth…

No matter what you pick to make your mool-ah online, you gotta work. There is NO get-rich-quick!

There are a lot of things you can do though to cut down on the amount of work you have to do.

For instance, over at wecreateyourbusiness.com/profitblog.htm I offer to build you a fully ready to go affiliate blog. This cuts hours and hours and hours out of your time, and ensures that you have a promotional model that is setup to make you the most coin.

There are always things you can do to cut down the time you actually have to be working but it still does take some work.

Like the high-profit blogs I’m creating for people from the offer at wecreateyourbusiness.com/profitblog.htm those who are lucky enough to get one of those blogs (shamless plug, I know) are going to have to spend a few hours a day, a few days a week running it.

Grant it I’ll be training them to do it, but they still have to do the “doing”.

Don’t get me wrong though… Affiliate marketing is a great business model, and it’s a big part of my pay checks. I love seeing commission checks coming in, and going:

“Wow… I forgot I was even promoting that.”

That’s what rocks about affiliate marketing. You simply setup your promotional models, actually spend some time to drive targeted traffic to them, and you’ll watch your inco.me grow and grow as time goes on.

So for those of you hopping on the affiliate marketing as a business model bandwagon hang out tight because this week and next week we’re going to be talking a lot about it.
