Content Marketing Anyone?
There are lots of great ways to make money as a content marketer. Hands down the fastest way is to do online work for others like…
* Website building…
* Article writing…
* Sales system creation… (Making a sales page, download page, and hooking it up to a payment processor)
* Promotional video creation
* SEO (About a billion things you can get hired to do related to SEO)
* and on and on and on and on and on
So my question to you is, what are your thoughts on this kind of work?
If you could learn how to do these kinds of services would you be happy with making $2-$5K a month?

Personally I am focussing on building my own business and so I either learn these skills to create a residual income or pay somebody to do the work for me.
The great thing about all of these skills is that they can be learnt and they’re open to anyone, with sites like elance, odesk etc you can be in business with access to paying customers almost immediately.
Exactly, and that’s why I made this post.
You have several choices when it comes to making money online. You can sell your own products and service, be an affiliate marketer, or a content marketer. A lot of people would just be happy with a few extra hundred to a few extra thousand just doing “online stuff” for others.
I pay people to do all kinds of things for me, and for someone who is just starting out or needs money to pay their bills, or even money to fund their “business idea” this is a great option!

I personally find writing articles and website content much easier than the setting up of a website, and wouldn’t mind just doing wrting if I could get more work.
As you can see I’ve only got a Blogger blog at present but am working on a Wordpress site on general health topics that I hoipe to have up soon.
Rob… Doing web work for others like the tasks I posted above is a great way to fund your learning, and pay the bills while you’re trying to get your feet on the ground with what you really want to do.

However, you can go to free lance sites like Guru.com and start building your own team. It can be a daunting task, but you’ll start building a network of workers. I’ve got two ladies who live in my neighborhood doing stuff for me, I’ve got a webmaster/programmer who’s been with me for two years, my husband runs my support desk, and I’ve got 3 others that do work for me on and off.
It can be done!

This is interesting. I’ve spent 40 years doing corporate video work, and then my job was outsourced. I’ve been watching IM stuff from the sidelines for about a year and then I realized 2 months ago that my skills could serve IMers who want more professional videos. I’ve been staring right past a hungry market the whole time

Even if you don’t have money to advertise those services you can go to freelance sites and pick up jobs to do. As you’re doing that you can create a website that offers your services and then put money into advertising it.

This an excellent business model for those who have the skills and knowledge to perform the tasks and services listed in your article. It’s amazing how you can make money online doing almost everything you love doing if you just knew how to package it!
There’s always newbies with great technical skills wanting to set up a website fast so they can pay the bills while they had the ability “to make quick cash” right at their fingertips all the time — no need to go out and feverishly search for it. When you present them with a business model of this nature or suggest they offer their services, the light bulb comes on!!!!

Just want to let you know that many Virtual Assistants do this type of work for their clients. For your readers who don’t want to do it themselves, this is a viable alternative, especially if they have other administrative work they’d like done (like managing the shopping cart)*and* if they want to work with someone long term (most VAs don’t do just project work.) AssistU.com has lots of information on VA if you want to get a better understanding.

I agree with you about providing services for others to make money online. Aside from doing internet marketing I have a site that I sell web hosting from at http://www.hesshost.com
Another site that I set up with free daily content where sell ad space for different reputable companies at http://www.skanhost.com
A free and paid marketing resources site at http://www.infomoolah.com
And I also build and design websites for people that don’t know anything about how to go about building one, even though it is so easy these days with all the free resources out there.
Most of the people just don’t have the time and don’t want to spend the time to learn to do it so I provide the service for them.
So yes, there are lots of ways to make money providing services instead of just try to sell all kinds of ebooks, reports, etc,. most of which are all repeat information just rewritten anyways.

In answer to your question. Yes, I am very happy helping others with the services they need for their marketing endeavors.
Most of them either don’t know how or don’t want to take the time to learn how to build their own website or blog.
Keeps people like me in the money, so to speak, by designing and building sites for them, plus I have lots of free and paid marketing resources to offer them at my own sites.

Sometimes you don’t realize the skills you have, where often our own worse critics who talk down what we posses.
I’ve always wanted to be a perfectionist, try and have all the boxes ticked. The probem with that is the world moves on and there will always be things you can do better.
Why do I say this?
Quite simply, lets take SEO…..I probably know enough to make a large amount of people see me has having expert knowledge but when I see people already offering this service I think, actually I don’t know anything compared to them.
This then comes down to perception and confidence. I’m sure there are people who are making money nfrom this alone who don’t know as much as I do, what they do possess is the know how to go about marketing themselves!
Another example, I have just completed graphics for my site:
cpamarketingrevealed.com the site and ebook cover are my own work.
In other words we can all be too close to things and not see the obvious, we don’t like been the judge of out own abilities. In the end do we actually know and believe in our worth?
You may have your own skills and to coin a phrase cannot see the wood for the Trees

Man I think I need to look into this further than I already have. Everytime I have looked at freelance jobs they all want thinks like 100 email accounts or 1000 friends on twitter,myspace & facebook. Heck I have 3 different Work at Home Job DataBases haha. Yes I know just a little obsessive compulsive. Oh well having OCD is good in the fact that I can’t stop till I get what I want done. Man its exhausting sometimes. I think I will go check some of them out again though but as far as long term I want more.

well, as a freelancer, i find those jobs rewarding.. i am currently working at home, have lots of time working on my website, have lots of time with my family as well, haven’t felt this great.
